This gift store has been in the Old Market since I was in grade school, and thank goodness it’s still around! The store is clean, well-organized, and very aesthetically pleasing, with a selection of quirky books, cookbooks, games, tarot cards, figurines, plushies, and more. I loved going there as a kid, and I still do as an adult. The gifts they offer are genuinely unique and high quality, which really sets them apart. Personally, I love that they sell Little Microbes brand plushies, Jellycats, Squishables, and other nice plushie brands. They also have a section for cooking tools, a section for kids, etc. If you need a thoughtful gift for someone of any age or just want to treat yourself, I recommend City Limits :)

this is the cutest little shop ever! they have all kinds of things like stickers, magnets, postcards, plushies, and more! the staff is so nice as well & the atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming, will be coming back for sure!!<33

Anytime I am in the Old Market, I make it a point to stop here! Fun selection of books, socks, kitchen accessories, and toys! There is definitely something there for everyone! It’s hard to walk out with just one thing!

A HIDDEN GEM! Wanted to find Omaha Postcards but I discovered so much more!! The store owners WERE AMAZING, friendly & funny with great recommendations. Bought so much stuff and honestly I could’ve spent more if I wasn’t being prudent. If you want to get souvenirs from Omaha and be amused by quirky stuff,this is the place to goooo

I live about an hour away but make the trip to come to City Limits often, it's always filled with fun! Hilarious cards, books, gifts, and quirky finds! They never disappoint!

City Limits Omaha sits right in the heart of downtown Omaha and is one of those places that instantly makes you smile. It’s full of unique gifts, many with a great sense of humor, and it’s the kind of shop where you always find something unexpected and fun. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and welcoming, the kind of people who make you want to stick around and look a little longer. The space feels lighthearted and creative, with plenty of personality throughout. If you stop in, make sure to ask about the large octopus. It’s a little part of what makes this place so memorable. City Limits Omaha is a great local spot for gifts, laughs, and supporting a downtown business with real character.

City Limits is a super fun gift shop near the Old Market in Omaha! It’s packed with a wide variety of cool and quirky items — from postcards to unique gift ideas, there’s a little something for everyone. It’s a fun place to browse, and the vibe is relaxed and inviting. I do wish they had more Nebraska-themed magnets, but overall, it’s a great shop to check out. The staff are friendly and helpful, too! Definitely don’t skip it, especially if you’re visiting during the Sunday Farmers Market — it’s the perfect stop while exploring the area.
